Chris and I met on Love Street, where our story quietly began.
He was a server at Lucky Shuck, and I was the Pastry Chef for the property. I remember walking in every day thinking to myself, “I need to get to know this guy.” What started as a simple curiosity quickly turned into something I couldn’t ignore.
After asking him more than a few times to come help me in pastry… he finally gave in (lol). We started working side by side, and while I was internally freaking out that I finally got what I wanted, he played it completely cool, so unbothered. What I didn’t know at the time was that he liked me too.
Not long after, he moved to Georgia, and I honestly thought that was it… that I’d never see him again.
But somehow, that’s where our story really began.
What started as distance turned into long nights on the phone—talking for hours, getting to know each other on a deeper level than we ever could have in passing moments at work. Those conversations built the foundation of everything we are today.
Somewhere between the distance, the laughter, and the late-night talks… we fell in love.
And now, here we are, proof that what’s meant for you will always find its way back.
