Can I bring my childern?

We absolutely adore your children... but this weekend, we'd like you to pretend you don't have them. 😉 Our wedding events will be adults only, with the exception of the children in the wedding party. Consider this your official excuse to book a babysitter, sleep in the next morning, and enjoy a kid-free vacation. We promise there will be plenty of food, drinks, dancing, and questionable decisions, but no kids' menu. Thanks for understanding, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Do I need to rent a car?

Not necessarily! Unless you're truly comfortable driving in what feels like Miami... times ten, we'd recommend using Uber for getting around. It's affordable, convenient, and will likely make your trip a lot more relaxing. If you're planning to explore beyond San Juan, though, renting a car is a great idea and gives you much more flexibility. Just be prepared for a more adventurous driving experience and channel your best Ramos mentality behind the wheel. 😉

Are there room blocks?

Yes! Visit the travel section of our wedding website and a link to our room blocks are there. You can also go on airbnb and search and look for options near the La Concha. There are tons of options. Feel free to ask for help if needed.

what airport should i fly into?

SJU - San Juan Airport

Do I need a passport?

No, Puerto Ricans are Americans.

how many days should i stay?

Our events are on Saturday and Sunday (excluding for the wedding party), if you have the budget and time. I'd say extend your trip a bit and explore PR. It's a beautiful island.

will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors

Indoors for the most part.

what time should i arrive?

I would suggest either arriving Friday night or Saturday morning so you have time to explore before our Welcome Party!

whats the weather like that time of year?

You'll be on an island. So always think hot and humid.

should i bring bug spray or sunscreen?

Always when traveling.

what's the currency?

US dollars, we're still in America

Can I use my credit card everywhere?

Yes! Major credit cards are widely accepted throughout Puerto Rico, including at hotels, restaurants, and most shops. It’s always a good idea to carry a small amount of cash for local vendors, taxis, or small purchases.

Will there be local Puerto Rican food?

Absolutely! We wanted our guests to experience the incredible flavors of Puerto Rico, so you’ll find local cuisine incorporated throughout the weekend. We hope you come hungry!

Are dietary restrictions accommodated?

Of course! Please include any dietary restrictions or food allergies when you RSVP. We’ll work closely with our catering team to ensure everyone has a delicious meal.

Is there an open bar?

Instead of a traditional open bar, we’ll have a thoughtfully curated selection of wine, champagne, beer, and spirits available throughout the evening. Since many of our guests don’t drink, we chose this option to reduce unnecessary waste while still making sure everyone has something to enjoy. There will also be a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available all night.

What’s worth seeing if we stay a few extra days?

If you have time, we highly recommend visiting: Old San Juan El Yunque National Forest Castillo San Felipe del Morro Icacos or Culebra for crystal-clear beaches Condado and Ocean Park Local coffee farms Bioluminescent Bay (an unforgettable nighttime experience!)

Can I bring a plus-one?

Our wedding is by invitation only. If your invitation includes a guest, their name will appear on your invitation and RSVP. We appreciate your understanding as we celebrate with our closest family and friends.

What’s the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by August 31,2026, so we can finalize our guest count with the venue. We kindly ask that you respond as soon as possible.

Who do I contact if I have questions?

If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, please don’t hesitate to reach out to either of us. We’re happy to help and can’t wait to celebrate with you in Puerto Rico!
